The Turkey Café, Leicester

This scheme is for the restoration of the Grade II listed Turkey café in Leicester, an iconic building in the city noted for its long history of being a café but mainly for its striking Architectural features including its unusual tiled ceramic Doulton façade.

Our services on this project were to work with the client and the local conservation officers from Leicester City Council to submit to the Local Authority a planning and listed building application for the restoration works to bring the building back to being a café during the day and a cocktail bar in the evening. We put together detailed specifications of the works together with annotated drawings and formed design and access statements to justify the works combined with visuals of how the final works would look.
